8.9 : Dynamic Content List

Dynamic Content Lists (DCL) are created by defining combinations of content types and content tags. A DCL is updated automatically when new content (that meets the specifications of that the list) is published.

One Content Type per List

Each DCL can be defined according to one or more tags, but only one content type.

It is not possible to combine more than one content type into a list, but it is possible to choose more than one tag when creating a list.

For example, you might create a list of articles with the tag ‘state employees’. You place the list on your state employees index page, and then every time you publish a new article with the ‘state employees’ tag, the list will be automatically updated to include that new content, wherever it is used on your site.
