8.1 : Content Library - Defined

All content is housed in the Content Library. When you are inserting content onto a page, the system will guide you through the Content Library to find the appropriate piece of content with a ‘content selector’ window.

To access your site's Content Library - simply use the navigation buttons to select "Manage > Content > {type to be managed}"

PLEASE NOTE : The Content Library is NOT the same as the Asset Library - the Asset Library contains individual items that will be used in the creation of your site's content, including; image files, Flash files, Word documents, PDF files, etc. As a general rule, items that have been added to the Asset Library, will, most likely, be the components you will use in creating content - an image (asset) that will be used in an article (content).
