The Four Navigation Areas on a Page
Header (yellow text next to Search box)
The header navigation can accommodate up to six items.

Word Counts

If 4 buttons, approximately 30 characters each

If 5 buttons, approximately 23 characters each

If 6 buttons, approximately 19 characters each
Horizontal nav (purple text just below header)
The horizontal navigation can accommodate multiple items (but we recommend no more than six!). The number that appear in this navigation is limited by the number of characters in each.

Word Counts

If 4 buttons, approximately 25 characters each

If 5 buttons, approximately 19 characters each

If 6 buttons, approximately 14 characters each

If 7 buttons, approximately 10 characters each

If 8 buttons, approximately 7 characters each
The horizontal nav buttons can show sub-navigation for 'child' pages that are set to show it in the navigation. Horizontal sub-nav appears when a visitor rolls over the nav button.
Vertical nav (orange text in left-hand column)
There is an 11 item limit on the number of vertical nav items.
The vertical navigation can show sub-nav for ‘child’ pages that are set
show it in the navigation. Vertical sub-nav shows when a visitor clicks
into that section.
Word counts • There are 22 characters per line. •
Vertical nav titles can wrap to the next line if they are longer than
22 characters or if you use one that exceeds 22 characters |  |
Footer (white text in footer bar)
The footer navigation can accommodate up an unlimited number of items, however, if too many are entered, the items will wrap to new lines, breaking the template. Therefore, please be judicious with this navigation area.
