5.1 : Draft Version Edit Mode Menu Items
When you click 'Edit Page' you enter "edit mode" of the page. During
the time you are in "edit mode" no other users can access the page. Edit Mode allows you to make changes to the actual layout of your content on a page. The following is a description of the various menu items available to you when in Edit Mode.
Edit Mode
Think of working on a page in Edit Mode like checking a book out from a library: as long as you've got a page in Edit Mode, no one else can access the page until you return it even if you're logged out of the S-Web system! Therefore, be kind to other admins of your site (and your Support Desk personnel!) and always click "Exit Edit Mode" when you're finished working on a page.
Exit Edit Mode
| Exit edit mode and unlock the page for other admins to enter it. Unless an admin exits edit mode (even if that admin is logged out!), no other admin can enter edit mode to place content on pages. |
Manage Site

|
View Published Version
| View the published version of your site that the public sees.
|
| Logout | Log out of the system and remove your authorization.
|
When you are in Edit Mode, you will be shown a further set of items in the gray bar:
Page Properties
| For an existing page, edit whether and how the page displays in the navigation, the page layout, and the keywords for site search. |
Publish
| Allows you to publish the page — which must be done after any changes are made before those changes will appear on your live site.
|
Page History
| Allows you to roll back to a previous version of the page.
|
| Add Page | Add a page, and set whether and how the page displays in the navigation, the page layout, and its expiration date.
