11.4 : Cropping & Resizing Images

To access the tools, click "More Info" for the image you want to crop or resize.

Resize1. Choose one of the pre-defined image sizes (which correspond to image sizes in the LocalsOnline design).

2. Save the resized image as a new file or replace the original.

3. Close the new window opened by the system (in browsers other than IE).

Proportional Resizing

Images will be resized proportionally. For example, if the height is the largest dimension, the image will be resized to the height of the system size, and the width will be resized proportionally, which may be less than the desired size. To 'force' image sizes, use the "Crop" tool.

Crop1. Choose one of the pre-defined image sizes (which correspond to image sizes in the LocalsOnline design).

2. Drag the edges of the mask box to select the portion of the image you’d like to keep.
You can make the crop area larger or smaller, but if you do, the final image size created will be the chosen predefined size.

3. Save the resized image as a new file or replace the original.

4. Close the new window opened by the system (in browsers other than IE).
